BUFFS WITH CARE

Here’s what it’s *really* like to hit the road full-time

You know all those movies that end with someone driving off into the sunset? Well, we wanted to find out what it’s *really* like to pack up your belongings and hit the open road.

We’re tagging along with two of our friends (and full-time travellers), Michelle Lawrence and Katie Larsen, to get the inside scoop on what life is like when you’re constantly on the move.

Here’s what a typical day looks like for them.

“Typically I shower at the gym, but today is a little different as I’m at my friend’s AirBnB. This place is insane and I can promise you guys this is *not* what a typical shower day looks like for me, but we’re going to take full advantage.”

“My first stop is gonna be in Malibu, California. There’s a spot called Point Dume and I just like to hike there. Before I go out, I always use a moisturiser on my hands. Recently I’ve been using C&E Lavender & Espresso Hand Cream, and it has worked wonders. I have naturally drier skin, so this is just perfect.”

“This is the part of my day where I’ll do some work, and do some photo editing. So typically I’ll go to a cafe but today I’m in the Santa Cruz Redwoods. So I’m just gonna stay up here and make some coffee.”

19:00

“Next I’m going to be doing some yoga on the beach. After I do yoga I always use the Self-Massage Oil. On the back it says ‘connect with yourself, find your peace’ - I think that’s really, really sweet and I normally travel by myself, so this is the perfect add-on to any yoga session (or just a lazy Sunday).”

“With living on the road, you naturally and significantly cut down on how frequently you shower - so what you put on your skin matters even more. The Cleanse + Awaken Shower Gel is blended with naturally exfoliating apple AHAs that allow me to scrub off the week without completely drying me out.”

Driving to my destination for the day, Wallowa Lake, Oregon. I’m extremely pumped to go swimming with my dog! One of the best parts about traveling in an off-grid tiny home is that I don’t need any RV hook ups, so I can camp in private places like this where I have the shore all to myself.

15:00

“It’s been a long day on the lake, and my skin is feeling it. So, we’re here to rejuvenate with a dab of Lavender & Espresso Hand Cream.”

19:00

“It’s become super common for me to get really bad headaches after long days of driving in the van. But, I’ve recently been using Bali Jasmine + Ylang Ylang Self-Massage Oil at the end of each long day. I just dab a little bit on my finger, rub it on my temples and problem solved.”
